You pay once. The licence is yours for good, it sits on your account, and it works on 3 machines at a time. Everything below is that sentence, said carefully.
1. Who you are buying from
VECINU TECH S.R.L. · Strada Alexandru Golescu, Nr. 35, Focșani, Vrancea, Romania · J2026050831001 · CUI 55458944 · [email protected] · ANPC · SAL. The registered details are at the bottom of this page. These terms are between you and that company.
2. What you buy
A licence for PanelLogic Pro, for SawPilot, or for both. It unlocks the paid parts of the program: in PanelLogic, orders without the free limit, importing a parts list from a file or by pasting, "Open project", "Save stock", "Import stock" and the order quotation; in SawPilot, cutting without the free limit.
The licence is perpetual. It does not expire, there is no subscription and there is nothing to renew. It is not a sale of the software itself: you get the right to use it, on the terms here.
3. How the licence reaches your machines
The licence belongs to an account, which is your e-mail address. An account is made for you on the way to paying — when you pay on this site, or, when you buy inside the Android app, the moment you ask for the code that starts the purchase. There is nothing to sign up for and there is no password: you sign in with a six-digit code sent to that address.
On each machine you sign in once and give the machine a name. That is the activation, and it needs the internet for a few seconds. From then on the program holds a short signed note and checks it itself, so it keeps working with the network unplugged. When the machine does have internet the note is renewed quietly, in the background, and you never see it happen.
A machine that goes 14 days without reaching us even once falls back to the free part of the program and says why. Nothing you have made is touched, nothing is deleted, and a sheet already started at the saw still finishes. A minute of internet puts it right again.
Up to 3 machines may be active at a time. With the bundle, that means up to 3 machines for each program in it. A machine that has not been seen for 90 days lets go of its place by itself, and you can switch any machine off from your account whenever you like, which frees its place at once. So changing a computer costs nothing and loses nothing.
4. What you may not do with it
The licence is for one buyer — one person, or one workshop or company. Inside that workshop nobody minds who holds the tablet. What it is not is something to resell, publish, rent out, or share with people outside the firm; and the account and its licence cannot be transferred to somebody else.
You may not work around the licence check, or hand the signed note from your machine to another one.
5. Free use
PanelLogic works without any licence for the first 15 orders, with the whole cutting plan on screen. SawPilot can be tried free for 40 cuts, and a sheet you have started always finishes. The free part needs no account, and nothing you type into it comes to us. Two things do leave the device even then, and neither comes to us: on Android the app talks to Google Play from start-up, so that it can show the buy button, and a label you print goes to the printer in your own workshop. Nothing about the free part obliges you to buy.
6. Price, payment and invoice
Prices on this site are in euro. When you buy here, payment is taken by Stripe, who also issue the invoice by e-mail; we never see your card number. There is a box at checkout for a company VAT number. Any tax due is worked out at checkout for the country you are in and shown before you pay.
When you buy inside the Android app, the payment is taken by Google Play, under Google's own terms, at the price and in the currency Google Play shows you, and the receipt comes from Google. We never see your card there either: Google tells us only that the purchase is good, and for which product.
Delivery is immediate: the licence is written the moment the payment goes through, and the letter with what to do next follows within minutes.
7. Changing your mind, and refunds
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom you normally have fourteen days to change your mind about something bought online. Software delivered at once is the exception: you keep that right only until the licence is made available to you, and before paying you are asked to tick a box saying that you want it immediately and that you understand you are giving the right up. Until you activate the licence on a machine, we will refund you anyway if you ask within those fourteen days.
Outside that, write to us. We would rather refund a man who is unhappy than argue with him. That is our choice and not a right you can insist on, and it does not touch whatever your own country's law gives you.
A purchase made inside the Android app is refunded by Google Play, under Google's rules, not by us; Google tells us it has been refunded and we take the licence back.
A refund takes the licence back: the machines lose it the next time they have internet. What you have already worked out stays on your machines, and the free part of the program keeps working.
8. Updates
Every update to version 1 is included, for as long as there is a version 1. If there is ever a version 2 it may be a separate product, and people who already bought version 1 will get it cheaper. We will not switch version 1 off, and a licence you have bought keeps working on the versions you have.
9. What the programs do, and what they do not promise
PanelLogic works out a cutting plan from the list of parts you enter. SawPilot shows that plan next to the saw, cut by cut. Both are aids to the person at the machine, not replacements for them: the operator checks the plan, the dimensions, the grain and the material before cutting, as with any drawing. We do not promise that a plan is the cheapest one possible, only that it is a plan the machine can cut.
The programs are supplied as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for material, time or parts lost because a plan was cut without being checked, nor for any indirect loss. Where the law does not allow such a limit, our liability is limited to what you paid. Nothing here takes away the rights a consumer has by law.
10. Support
By e-mail, at [email protected], on working days, in English and Romanian. A person reads it.
11. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from your account page, or from inside either program. That lets your machines go and you will not be able to activate another one. Two things stay with us, because an invoice has to be answerable for years: the record of the purchase — the address that paid, the product, the order number — and the licence log, which carries on every line the account's code and, where a machine was added, the name you gave it. The Privacy Policy says it in full.
We can withdraw a licence only for a real reason — a refund, a chargeback, or the licence being resold or shared outside your firm — and we will say why.
12. Intellectual property
PanelLogic and SawPilot, including the software, the source code, the interface, the graphic elements, the logos, the names, the documentation and the associated materials, are protected by the applicable law on copyright and intellectual property.
Buying a PanelLogic or SawPilot licence grants the user a limited, non-exclusive right to use the software, under the conditions of the licence bought.
The licence does not transfer ownership of the software and does not grant the right to copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent out or commercialise the software or its components, except in the cases expressly provided for in the licence.
The names PanelLogic and SawPilot, the logos, the visual identity and the other branding elements remain the property of their holder and are not transferred by the purchase of a licence.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for licences bought after the date of the change.
For a licence already bought, the terms in force on the date of purchase apply, except for changes needed to comply with a legal obligation or for the operation of the services attached to the licence.
The version of the terms that applies to a licence can be identified by the date and the version shown on this page at the moment of purchase.
14. Law
Romanian law. Disputes go to the courts of Focșani, Romania — without touching the rights you have under the law of the country you live in, if you are a consumer. Consumers can also complain to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), or ask for out-of-court dispute settlement (SAL), at anpc.ro.
